Our curriculum is designed to move beyond basic mechanics, focusing on the intersection of technology, business, and community leadership. The program consists of 6 weeks of classroom instruction followed by 2 weeks of supervised station practice
Understanding the transition to electric transport in West Africa.

At the Ba-Suka Academy, we believe the clean-energy transition is only as strong as the leaders who operate it. Below, we have compiled the most common questions to help you take your first step toward becoming a certified Station Manager.
The Ba-Suka Academy is a specialized training engine designed to create a pipeline of certified women leaders for the clean-energy sector. It provides the technical, business, and leadership skills necessary to manage our solar-powered battery-swapping stations.
We welcome applications from motivated women who are interested in technology, sustainability, and community leadership. No prior experience in electrical engineering is required, as we provide comprehensive training from the ground up.
The certification program lasts a total of 8 weeks. This includes 6 weeks of intensive classroom instruction followed by 2 weeks of hands-on, supervised practice at an active Ba-Suka station.
Technical Operations: Solar arrays, DMS battery systems, and safety monitoring.
Clean Energy & Mobility: The transition to electric motorcycles and environmental impact.
Business Skills: Financial literacy, digital tool usage, and site maintenance.

Yes. Upon successfully passing the safety and operations exams, students receive a professional Ba-Suka Academy Certification, recognizing them as qualified energy infrastructure managers.
Our goal is to assign every certified graduate to a station. While assignment depends on station availability in your area, all graduates are entered into our priority talent pool for new station launches and supervisory roles
We use a performance-linked commission model designed to reward excellence. Our target is for certified managers to earn 2–3× the local minimum wage.
